According to several news reports, the new Qx60 vehicle, which is the hybrid version of Infiniti’s JX35, is soon to be unveiled during the 2013 New York Auto Show.
The reports show that this model has announced that the new JX35 will be equipped with a fully hybrid system and that it will be making its debut during the 2013 New York auto show. From 2014 on, Infiniti models will be named with Q-centric names. The change begins with the QX lineup. The hybrid crossover QX60 comes with a supercharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is also equipped with an electric motor. The vehicle’s lithium-ion battery pack is placed directly below the third-row seat, which can be replenished with the help of a regenerative-braking system.
This model’s engine is capable of offering 250 in horsepower and may get 26-mpg in city and highway driving combined. Although the price hasn’t been fully disclosed as of now, experts believe that the new QX60 may be available for a base price of $45,000.
