Lamborghini has issued a recall announcement for all units of the 2012 Aventador model over a possible crash risk, reports indicate.

According to the official report issued by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, these vehicles were equipped with headlights that fail to comply with federal standards due to the fact these devices aim horizontally but not vertically, which could blind oncoming drivers and cause accidents.

The company will be notifying all owners of the affected vehicles and repairs will be conducted for free.
