Multiple Buses Recalled, Vehicles Could Pose Entrapment Hazard

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for several units of buses over a potentially defective egress window set.

According to the official recall announcement, Eldorado National has decided to issue this recall after it was noted that the 2011 Axess and EZ Rider II Max buses were equipped with emergency egress passenger windows that may break and fail before passengers try to open the window latch in the event of an emergency.

This could result in an entrapment in the event of an emergency, which could lead to injuries.

To prevent injuries, the company decided to issue this recall at once.
