Multiple Digger And Aerial Devices Recalled, NHTSA Reports

According to a series of news agencies, Terex has reported that all units of the 2012 and 2013 Aerial Devices and Digger Derricks are being recalled after it was noted that the main cylinder in these devices contain components that may have not been machined correctly.

The official report published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has indicated that the devices come with lock valve cavities that may not seal correctly due to the inefficient way in which the device was machined during assembly. To prevent the cylinder from failing and posing an injury risk to others, the company has reported it will be notifying all affected owners.
