The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has recently reported that multiple vehicles manufactured by Lotus Cars are being recalled over a possible issue linked to the vehicle’s Federal Certification Label.
According to the agency, the 2013 Evora could be subject to safety recalls that could go unanswered because the labels in these vehicles contain the wrong information regarding the date of manufacture, the car owners may not be aware that his or her car is subject to a safety recall, increasing the chances of an injury in case of an accident caused by defective equipment.
Lotus is notifying affected consumers in order to instruct them on how to have this problem fixed. Affected cars will have incorrect labels replaced for corrected ones. The recall campaign has officially begun. For more information, follow this link.
