New Law Would Protect Consumers From Recalled Vehicles

According to the news, a law being run through U.S. Congress would require U.S. rental car companies to remove recalled cars from their rental lots, which would then prevent accidents that would otherwise be caused by defective vehicles.

This law has been proposed in response to a number of accidents caused by defective rental cars, including one which resulted in the death of two young girls. U.S. lawmakers seem to be jumping on-board and intend to pass the law in spite of the opposition.
