Car seats have been inspected in the recent past and according to a series of news agencies, the study showed that parents are simply not installing their toddler’s safety seat correctly.

In some cases, parents had the wrong model of car safety seats installed, which could pose a serious risk to children in the event of an accident. According to the news, out of 173 car safety seats inspected, 124 were not safe. This is a staggering discovery considering that the correct use of car safety seats could keep toddlers from being injured and even killed in most car accidents.

Safety advocates urge drivers to remember that their children’s safety should be their priority and that installing a car safety seat incorrectly can pose serious risks.
