Pedestrian Safety Design Launched In L.A. Auto Show

According to several media outlets, consumers who were able to make it to the L.A. Auto Show could learn more about several new technologies, car deals and safety features.

One of the perks of attending is linked to learning about some of the major deals for 2012 models of vehicles, which were exposed in this recent L.A. Auto Show.

The reports indicated that due to the fact automakers want to make room for the 2013 models in their lots, dealers are forced to get most of the vehicles sold with a heavy discount. Pedestrian safety designs have also been unveiled in this new show. According to the reports, more than 4,000 people are killed in pedestrian versus auto accidents every year. In Europe, automakers have to follow certain regulations that force vehicles to be safer for pedestrians. Because of that, multiple companies in Europe have been working on technology that could help to make vehicles much safer, which is now arriving in America

During the L.A. Auto Show, the finalists of this year’s Technology of the Year competition observed by AOL Autos has been published. According to the articles, judges have been looking for the best in auto and safety technology and the most competent and groundbreaking will be announced as the finalists in over 30 categories.

This year’s L.A. Auto Show has unveiled multiple news and groundbreaking models, according to specialists. Hopefully, the new technology will be able to help drivers and increase road safety across the country.
