Side Airbags More Likely To Save Your Life, Studies Suggest

Studies have demonstrated that side airbags could actually reduce injuries in the event of an accident, reports show.

According to a series of articles, the Monash University Accident Research Centre examined multiple claims regarding auto accidents that occurred between 2001 and 2009. According to the results, researches noticed that injuries dropped about 51 percent when the cars were fitted with side airbags. The reduction was even greater in injuries to the neck, face, head and upper body if the cars were fitted with side airbags.

This research proves that, cars with side airbags protected drivers and occupants.
