The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has indicated that multiple motorhome models have been recalled over a potential road hazard linked to the vehicles’ solar panels.

The federal agency has stated that Fleetwood RV has issued a recall affecting all 2014 Bounder, Southwind, Expedition, Discovery and American Revolution models. These vehicles were fitted with certain solar panels that could become loose unexpectedly while the vehicle is being operated, creating a hazard to others sharing the road with the vehicle. This problem could also pose an injury hazard to the affected motorhome users.
