Tesla’s New Vehicle Picked By Motor Trend As Car Of The Year

A series of news agencies have reported that the new Tesla Model S has been picked as the 2013 car of the year by judges who tested 25 different models before choosing Tesla’s new car.

According to the report, Motor Trend picked this model over others after the vehicle went through a battery of testing that included all aspects of the vehicle. The car’s acceleration capabilities, how noisy the engine was, how quickly it sweeps corners and how the suspension tuning feels all have been taken into consideration.

The vehicles were tested at a Hyundai/Kia facility that is located near the Mojave desert in California.

According to a recent article, this is the 64th year this award is given to vehicles that excel in these tests.
