Toyota’s New RAV4 May Have Not Been Equipped With The Brightest DRL

According to some experts, the new RAV4’s headlight switches have been designed with a flaw that has been irritating some specialists.

According to recent tests, the daytime running lights in these vehicles don’t automatically run during the day if the driver doesn’t consciously turn the switch on.

The reports show that most vehicles equipped with daylight running lights do not offer a switch that allows drivers to turn these lights off, however, on the new RAV4, the switch keeps daylight headlights always off, unless the driver physically turns the system on.

Since some insurance companies give premium discounts for drivers with vehicles that have the daylight running lights capability, some experts believe that the fact this light may be always off could pose a safety issue to drivers.
