Truck Drivers Blame GPS Navigators For Certain Crashes

According to information released in recent articles, which was also reported by a United States Senator, GPS navigators may be at fault regarding a great number of bridge-striking accidents involving trucks.

Recent data shows that GPS misuse accounts for about 80% of bridge-strike truck accidents. Some companies, including TomTom, offer GPS navigators of higher quality that would deter bridge-strike accidents, which are entirely designed for trucks, however, some say that truck drivers refuse to purchase these navigation systems because they tend to be more pricey.
