Safercar.gov, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website, has recently reported a safety recall that deals with Vermeer brush clipper trailers.

According to the report, some units did not have the lug nuts torqued properly and could create a hazard if the wheels were to suddenly become separated from the chipper while the vehicle is being operated.

Consumers who are affected by this recall are urged to contact Vermeer to arrange for a dealer to make necessary adjustments free of charge.
