A recall has been issued by Volvo regarding their tire pressure monitoring and regulation systems.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, an electronic issue causes the tire service light to come on after just a few minutes of sustained driving, especially if the vehicle has passed the 25 miles per hour mark.

The danger lies in the fact that the malfunction will not warn the driver of under inflation on his or her tires, which could lead to a crash.
