The BMW ActiveHybrid 5 has been one of the least talked about hybrids during 2012. However, experts believe that BMW’s 2012 ActiveHybrid 5 is one of the most competent when it comes to acceleration, especially if consumers compare this model with the sluggish Prius.
This model is BMW’s first legitimate attempt to offer a hybrid powertrain that lives up to expectation. In tests, this vehicle was able to make 60 mph in 5.6, 0.2 second longer than the 535i, which is gas-powered.
